The Beta Eta chapter for Alpha Phi Omega was founded in 1938. As a co-ed service fraternity, we have focused on serving the community of Columbia, Mo., and beyond. There are currently 30 active members of the chapter and 40 pledges. Brothers of Beta Eta represent a variety of majors, including engineering, journalism, economics, education, psychology, marketing, and more.
The Beta Eta chapter focuses on APO's three pillars of leadership, friendship and service through a variety of projects and events. Past service events include working with the Columbia Cosmopolitan Breakfast Club, The Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri and Love Columbia. For fellowship events, the chapter has held formals, bonfires and trivia nights. Leadership events include resume workshops, interview roundtables and organizing new service projects.
